Green is Very Cool

Hey, you know that game that scrambles song lyrics using Google Translate? No? Well, what rock have you been living under... anyway, last week on Lost in Google Translation, I mentioned that this week would have a theme to it: that all three songs come from the same VH1 countdown. Not telling you which one, though.
#1 I wish I rakeulhagil Xxxxxxxxxx and I came down I was not famous in the world, but Rock - Mike, I'm idiot because I mean, I know since I am the winner: Do not come near me if you are infected is not me. not lose Now my choice. I watch you love my girls: I think even those who feel the same way show me that I do not why? Hey, I do not know enough about it just because two things have to second the time it takes to create
#2 I usually can not find. Frightened lying around and I do not understand. Now ladies sitting at her desk nearby. Closed Curtain Hall Kass from people like me think this Oh, I do not die in the hands gedoeeotseupnida you say that I died in my hands Oh Death at hand. I had some clear kiss I had.
#3 I do not like you I wonder if it bad, you can if you have good people do not know. His life and soul together, not just be Cold war, tired, but I know every nerve fibers difficult heart Broken, frozen my life. I do not want this anymore. It is better shoes, even one day be broken or not. If we want to do better? It would be better for me more often, green is very cool, if we are not helpless or not.

The whiteness below will tell you what you need to know. Also note that all three songs this week are BMI, whereas all three last week were ASCAP. This means something.
#1 "It Takes Two" by Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock.
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=751741&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

I want to rock right now. I'm Rob Base and I came to get down. I'm not internationally known, but I'm known to rock the microphone, because I get stupid, I mean outrageous. Stay away from me if you're contagious, because I'm the winner: no, I'm not the loser. To be an M.C. is what I choose. Ladies love me; girls adore me: I mean even the ones who never saw me like the way that I rhyme at a show. The reason why? Man, I don't know, so let's go, because it takes two to make a thing go right. It takes two to make it out of sight. Hit it.

#2 "(I Just) Died in Your Arms Tonight" by Cutting Crew.
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=629853&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

I keep looking for something I can't get. Broken hearts lie all around me, and I don't see an easy way to get out of this. Her diary, it sits on the bedside table. The curtains are closed. The cat's in the cradle. Who would've thought that a boy like me could come to this? Oh I, I just died in your arms tonight. It must've been something you said. I just died in your arms tonight. Oh I, I just died in your arms tonight. It must've been some kind of kiss. I should have walked away. I should've walked away.

#3 "Wouldn't It be Good?" by Nik Kershaw.
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=1696551&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

I got it bad. You don't know how bad I got it. You got it easy. You don't know when you got it good. It's getting harder just keeping life and soul together. I'm sick of fighting, even though I know I should. The cold is biting through each and every nerve and fibre. My broken spirit is frozen to the core. I don't wanna be here anymore. Wouldn't it be good to be in your shoes, even if it was for just one day? Wouldn't it be good if we could wish ourselves away? Wouldn't it be good to be on your side? The grass is always greener over there. Wouldn't it be good if we cold live without a care?

Hungry Children Will Tell Him About His Service and Good Food

A slight change from now on in Lost in Google Translation, the game that scrambles song lyrics using Google Translate: it seems that Google`s getting better at this, and even though I garble lyrics through seven languages, certain key phrases pop up unchanged, and thus are giveaways. So from now on, on occassion if a phrase appears directly as in the title, or more or less directly so, I'll scratch it out. You'll be able to see that I've done this, because I'll replace the text in question with Xxxxxxx.

This week's and next week's both have themes: they are both taken from two different VH1 countdowns - which means there's a stylistic or era similarity between them.
#1 It was morning. The sun is up to the last. Last night was shaking quite large. After teaching my cat scratch my skin, otherwise the error? Hungry children will tell him about his service and good food. Add to a new place. I went here when I can: If you want to make me the storm here: If you want to make the storm.
#2 Ah, yes, teachers, and stop screaming Sir, you do not see? I do not want to be stupid in this area. You may be hell, but I'm fine after school teacher should be notified. I lost my house all the education But I'm not good enough then. Of course the bad bad bad I'm xxxxxxxxxx Bad, Bad, I feel I'm xxxxxxxxxx
#3 All the coast of Lake Geneva in Montreux to record our phone. We do not have much time Frank Zappa and his mother better than the madman with a gun in the water, earth, fire, smoke, xxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxx.
Actually I'm full of crap. Number two wasn't on the VH1 list. But it could have been. Lots of x's, eh? Check the white space below for answers.

#1 "Rock You Like a Hurricane" by the Scorpions.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=480180463&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

It's early morning. The sun comes out. Last night was shaking and pretty loud. My cat is purring and scratches my skin, so what is wrong with another sin? The bitch is hungry. She needs to tell, so give her inches and feed her well. More days to come, new places to go. I've got to leave: it's time for a show. Here I am: rock you like a hurricane. Here I am: rock you like a hurricane.

#2 "Hot for Teacher" by Van Halen.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=380257212&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

Oh yes, teacher, stop that screaming. Teacher, don't you see? I don't want to be an uptown fool. Maybe I should go to hell, but I am doing well. Teacher needs to see me after school. I think of all the education that I've missed, but then my homework was never quite like this. Got it bad, got it bad, got it bad. I'm hot for teacher. I've got it bad, so bad. I'm hot for teacher.

#3 "Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=490306826&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

We all came out to Montreux on the Lake Geneva shoreline to make records with a mobile. We didn't have much time. Frank Zappa and the Mothers were at the best place around, but some stupid with a flare gun burned the place to the ground. Smoke on the water, a fire in the sky. Smoke on the water.

History of Mouth at First Light, Right?

Another instalment of Lost in Google Translation, the game that scrambles song lyrics using Google Translate. It's themeless this week, except that one is about 30 years old, and the other two are way older than that: otherwaise, just three songs, all reasonably well-known, stuck into one of those Magic Bullet devices they advertise on TV. Aren't they cool?
#1 Cartoon Maifanibarentain Barentainsuuito: Make sure you smile in your heart will not take joke, but you will find works of art. Her face is less than Greek and more? History of mouth at first light, right? You smart?
#2 So, how kabarmu I walked, I saw men and women. This is not the time to talk. Music and hot women, where they were born and began to start properly. However, just look the other way. New York Times' to trying to understand the impact on our people. If the mother and family, you live. We live in a city miles we all feel broken, I want to live life.
#3 New Orleans east, they want the sun, and many poor children in the home, this is the balance. And God, I know. It is normal that new sewing blue jeans. My dad, gambling man Down in New Orleans said. Now only the players and the bag and luggage only won when he saw the required 20,000.
I shouldn't be giving clues really, but I can't help myself, because it's quite funny. See the two words of pidgin Japanese that the Magic Bullet translator couldn't purée? Look very closely at that first word. And try to pronounce it. Give up? The whiteness below holds all the info you need.

#1 "My Funny Valentine" written by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart; performed by many.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=430115430&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

My funny Valentine, sweet comic Valentine: you make me smile with my heart. Your looks are laughable, unphotographable, yet you're my favourite work of art. Is your figure less than Greek? Is your mouth a little weak when you open it to speak? Are you smart?

#2 "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees.
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=1406855&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk, I'm a woman's man. No time to talk. Music loud and women warm, I've been kicked around since I was born, and now it's all right. It's okay, and you may look the other way. We can try to understand the New York Times' effect on man. Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother, you're staying alive, staying alive. Feel the city breaking and everybody shaking, and we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.

#3 "House of the Rising Sun" as performed by the Animals.
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&page=1&keyid=589048&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

There is a house in New Orleans they call the Rising Sun, and it's been the ruin of many a poor boy. And, God, I know I'm one. My mother was a tailor; she sewed my new blue jeans. My father was a gambling man down in New Orleans. Now the only thing a gambler needs is a suitcase and trunk, and the only time he's satisfied is when he's all drunk.

Bow Tree Farm is Excluded

Once again, it's another installment in the game that scrambles song lyrics using Google Translate. We do have a theme this week: all three are by the same musician. So guessing one will help you guess all three. Good luck...
#1 Now I had seen what I saw off Queen Knight drum drum and sing and bow tree farm is excluded. Announce the day and swim Mother Nature Watch 19-70 air travel to travel to visit 70 Mother Nature I was burning in the basement of the full moon in my eyes I burst through the sky Sunday, I hope to replace. Band playing in my head feel better. I think my friends that I hope will My friends think he wants his own address.
#2 Even down to the river and a large red and white flag ship via rail. I would like to contact John seems not to cover here, and less than a mile I think you will. He is a weapon of big waves.
#3 He worked in a restaurant. My daughter just overlooked. I never saw him only end mezzanine Small-town father is not always the root of his movement continued. One of the desert road riding Harley Davidson - flying wind her long hair to yellow. He fled chrome steel air atmosfääriõhku driver hit 2.1.
Easy? Well, I don't know. The first and the third are more famous than the second. The answers to all three are written below, cleverly camouflaged in white. Highlight the text below to blow its cover.

#1 "After the Goldrush" by Neil Young.
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=10423&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

Well, I dreamed I saw the knights in armour coming, saying something about a queen. There were peasants singing and drummers drumming, and the archer split the tree. There was a fanfare blowing to the sun that was floating on the breeze. Look at Mother Nature on the run in the nineteen-seventies. Look at Mother Nature on the run in the nineteen seventies. I was lying in a burned-out basement with the full moon in my eyes. I was hoping for replacement when the sun burst through the sky. There was a band playing in my head, and I felt like getting high. I was thinking about what a friend had said: I was hoping it was a lie. Thinking about what a friend had said, I was hoping it was a lie.$

#2 "Powderfinger" by Neil Young and Crazy Horse.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=460189448&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

Look out, Mama, there's a white boat coming up the river with a big red beacon and a flag, and a man on the rail. I think you'd better call John, because it doesn't look like they're here to deliver the mail. And it's less than a mile away. I hope they didn't come to stay. It's got numbers on the side and a gun and it's making big waves.

#3 "Unknown Legend" by Neil Young.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=510091902&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

She used to work in a diner. I never saw a woman look finer. I used to order just to watch her float across the floor. She grew up in a small town, never put her roots down: daddy always kept moving, so she did too. Somewhere on a desert highway, she rides a Harley-Davidson; her long blonde hair flying in the wind. She's been running half her life, the chrome and steel she rides colliding with the very air she breathes, the air she breathes.

I'm Not Digging Mines and Pigs

Okay. This week we are talking theme: it's a genre thing again. All three songs are from the same genre. So either you've got a decent chance at getting all three or won't get any of them. Well, the first one was pretty 'crossover'. So was the third, come to think of it. Okay, you have no excuse for not getting them.

Incidentally, it's come to my attention that Google is confused about what this site is, so I'm going to mention, in bold type, that it's a game about guessing song lyrics after they've been scrambled in translation. I'm going to mention that for a while in every edition, just to help Mr. Google out.
#1 You walk through the valley of the shadow of death I saw in my life I've been to. Many explosions and inform my mother left me laughing long I was sad by the people. Do not call that a question we should act like punk? You know that incredible. You better if you talk to all walks of homies and your party with the chalk I hate to travel, I have since grown loc I would like to see smoking gun to fool Of the warmest nights of happiness when his homies.
#2 Just woke up on Thanksgiving morning. I do not know this seems odd: no smoke from cooking breakfast mother dog Pars no wheelbarrow I'm not digging mines and pigs. Finally I would like to dig, buy a low to let me hold the door when he pressured another 24 I think you need to change "I will be changing my me to ass my glass of me and see all Jacker is on fire the red Kim that his voice, he asked all my homies back care, I hope everyone can "I played basketball in my garden" Me. In court my problem: to finish second and third last week. MJ niggas do not deviate so all the good that day.
#3 Please call to revive: I fear the weakness of the Year and lively shaking colleagues here monsŵn to tears listening to the bass boom: US, unbearably big break Store: a and called the police to your But did not dare stare, you can go for you. I compared the remaining pieces dice. Competitive pay, you win / I'm right and you knock your mother.
I'm going to point out something I should have mentioned before: the odd time that you'll see 'grammatical corrections' in the correct answers (listen in white below, remember), it's not because I'm some anal-retentive who can't stand seeing words like 'gotta'. I just have to put the words into a structure that the translator will understand better. As far as that's possible, of course.

#1 "Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=370268765&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I take a look at my life and realize there's not much left, because I've been blasting and laughing so long that even my mama thinks that my mind is gone, but I have never crossed a man that didn't deserve it. Me be treated like a punk? You know that's unheard of. You better watch how you're talking, and where you're walking, or you and your homies might be lined in chalk. I really hate to trip, but I gotta loc'. As they grew, I see myself in the pistol smoke, fool. I'm the kind of G the little homies wanna be like, on my knees in the night saying prayers in the street light.

#2 "It Was a Good Day" by Ice Cube.

http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=390512515&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

Just waking up in the morning, I've got to thank God. I don't know, but today seems kind of odd: no barking from the dogs, no smog, and mama cooked a breakfast with no hog. I've got my grub on, but didn't pig out. I finally got a call from a girl I want to dig out. Hooked it up on later as I hit the door, thinking, "Will I live another twenty-four?" I've got to go because I got me a drop top, and if I hit the switch, I can make the ass drop. Had to stop at a red light, looking in my mirror, not a jacker in sight, and everything is all right. I got a beep from Kim, and she can f--k all night. I called up the homies and I'm asking you all, "which park are you all playin basketball?" Get me on the court and I'm trouble: last week, I f--ked around and got a triple double. Freaking niggas everyway like M.J. I can't believe, today was a good day.

#3 "Mama Said Knock You Out" by LL Cool J.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=430434103&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

Don't call it a comeback: I've been here for years rocking my peers and putting suckers in fear, making the tears rain down like a monsoon. Listen to the bass go boom: explosion, overpowering. Over the competition I'm towering. Wrecking shop: when I drop these lyrics that'll make you call the cops, don't you dare stare; you'd better move. Don't ever compare me to the rest: that'll all get sliced and diced. Competition's paying the price. I'm going to knock you out. Mama said knock you out.

Let's Share the Results of the Election

Another week, another three songs. Any theme this time? No ma'am. Just three songs. Have fun...
#1 I think I'm ready for you. I think I'm ready for you. I think I'm ready for you. I am, but more money, no comment on the money. This is more than money, they want to build. At the time, it will be worth many times more. oh, so ayolah, patience and time to do it correctly, you need to do, and they are.
#2 I like the wind through the trees. Sampingku night was so. months, but the sun stayed uniongoze. He accepted my idea, but I did not know what to do. Right next to the body wajahku I felt rambling. I am not in his eyes: in my group. Only a fool believes he can do what they need to hear. I like the wind.
#3 We are family. My sister is on my side. We are family. Both songs are stopped. Nobody could see each other, so there are feathers flying like a bird. What is wrong. We are "very close to all the people around you?" Let's share the results of the election: I love my family measure.
A pretty random selection indeed. In decreasing order of difficulty, as it turns out. Give up? No clue? No worries. The answers are already here, looking you in the face. They're just written in white. Highlighting the blank area immediately below will do the trick.

#1 "Got My Mind Set on You" by George Harrison.
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=684540&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

I got my mind set on you. I got my mind set on you. I got my mind set on you. I got my mind set on you, but it's going to take money, a whole lot of spending money. It's going to take plenty of money to do it right, child. It's going to take time, a whole lot of precious time. Its gonna take patience and time to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it right, child.

#2 "She's Like the Wind" by Patrick Swayze.

http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&page=1&keyid=1325904&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

She's like the wind through my tree. She rides the night next to me. She leads me through moonlight only to burn me with the sun. She's taken my heart, but she doesn't know what she's done. I feel her breath on my face, her body close to me. I can't look in her eyes: she's out of my league. Just a fool to believe I have anything she needs. She's like the wind.

#3 "We are Family" by Sister Sledge.
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=1612850&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

We are family. I've got all my sisters with me. We are family. Get up everybody and sing. Everyone can see we're together as we walk on by, and we fly just like birds of a feather. I won't tell no lie. All of the people around us they say, 'Can they be that close?' Just let me state for the record: we're giving love in a family dose.

I am Rolling Shakes Bad for You

Okay, so about five minutes ago, when I wrote the opening paragraph for last week's 'episode', I said I wasn't going to do themes. Then I changed my mind and decided to put together the flimsiest of themes for this week: all three of these artists are from the same country. There you go: happy now?
#1 Today is your day going. Now, in some ways, you must understand you can do. I do not believe that he does feel for the moment. Word Street is the heart of the high fever is back. I have never heard before, but never doubt I am going to die. I do not believe that he does feel for the moment. The closure, all the lights are published menyilaukan. I want to say much, but I do not know how.
#2 Me and false. My mother, father, you should come. I attack the world. I am rolling shakes bad for you. Liam. Pink monkey bird And I tell you an indication of the brain breakdown. See for yourself. Ray put gun to my head. Press your space face close to me, I love you. dream mud Wed, oh yeah, and escape.
#3 Last good. When your hands up. Click on get their own way in life. The day will come. their lives, why people like How to choose? Last good. Last good. ends. Last good. That our time is one hour. Now is the time here. Waiting for my life, my life forever. Yellow is the color of the sun. I have to hide. Always, often in my life, my life here. Yellow is the color of the sun.
Truth be told, none of these are that tough if you happen to know the songs. Stone age tribes in New Guinea have heard the first one, but numbers two and three? Well, perhaps not. Anyway, that lovely patch of white you see immediately below contains the answers to the question. Highlight it and there's gold in them thar white places.

#1 "Wonderwall" by Oasis.
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=2086865&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

Today is gonna be the day that they're going to throw it back to you. By now you should have somehow realized what you've got to do. I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now. Backbeat, the word was on the street that the fire in your heart is out. I'm sure you've heard it all before, but you never really had a doubt. I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now. And all the roads we walk along are winding, and all the lights that lead us there are blinding. There are many things that I would like to say to you, but I don't know how.

#2 "Moonage Daydream" by David Bowie.

http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=1007962&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

I'm an alligator. I'm a mama-papa coming for you. I'm a space invader. I'll be a rocking rolling bitch for you. Keep your mouth shut. You're squawking like a pink monkey bird, and I'm busting up my brains for the words. Keep your electric eye on me babe. Put your ray gun to my head. Press your space face close to mine, love. Freak out in a moonage daydream, oh yeah.

#3 "Keep On Movin'" by Soul II Soul.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=410098934&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

Keep on moving. Don't stop like the hands of time. click clock, find your own way to stay. The time will come one day. Why do people choose to live their lives this way? Keep on moving. Keep on moving. Don't stop, no. Keep on moving. It's our time, time today. The right time is here to stay. Stay in my life, my life always. Yellow is the colour of sunrays. I hide myself from no one. I know the time will surely come when you'll be in my life, my life always. Yellow is the colour of sunrays.

Another Day of Driving Themselves

Don't feel like doing themes at the moment. Just a random bunch of songs, for this week and for three weeks after this. Yes, I've gone and done a big heap of songs in order to get four weeks of this done in one fell swoop. What the hell is a fell swoop?
#1 I think the future of our children. The best way to learn. beauty all to themselves. Providing tools for pride. Many laughed when my children need reminding. Both are looking for heroes. We need people to see. need to do: I had the opportunity to meet and quiet, so I learned to my faith.
#2 Georgia, Georgia, during the day. Georgia opinion is just an old sweet song, so maksudku. In Georgia, Georgia, sweet as you clear the trees and the moon through songs, I say. On another, the smile slowly, eyes and other weapons. Peace continues to lead the way to see again heard the shot.
#3 We say about that. Me, Not me, another day of driving themselves, I'm getting ready to do so. I love the same? Al, get me I will continue a day or two. So, my little things go without saying, but it seems like life is slowly leaving teaching. Say: nothing is more important than to be. Al, get me I will continue a day or two.
In case you've not noticed, numbers one and two aren't all that difficult, really. So I've balance it with number three, which, though it comes from a popular enough song, is so difficult that even God himself couldn't answer it. You know, unless he cheated by peeking at the whiteness below:

#1 "The Greatest Love of All" by Whitney Houston.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=370127505&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

I believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside. Give them a sense of pride to make it easier. Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be. Everybody's searching for a hero. People need someone to look up to. I never found anyone who fulfill my needs: a lonely place to be, so I learned to depend on me.

#2 "Georgia on My Mind" by Ray Charles (among others).

http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=461587&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

Georgia, Georgia, the whole day through. Just an old sweet song keeps Georgia on my mind. I'll say Georgia, Georgia, a song of you comes as sweet and clear as moonlight through the pines. Other arms reach out to me, other eyes smile tenderly. Still in peaceful dreams I see the road leads back to you.

#3 "Take on Me" by a-ha.
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=1451670&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

We're talking away. I don't know what I'm to say; I'll say it anyway: today's another day to find you shying away. I'll be coming for your love, OK? Take on me, take me on. I'll be gone in a day or two. So, needless to say I'm odds and ends, but that's me stumbling away, slowly learning that life is OK. Say after me: It's no better to be safe than sorry. Take on me, take me on. I'll be gone in a day or two.

He for Me a Man Who Talcs as Foot Foot

Another week, another three songs. Is there a theme this week? Well, I'm glad you asked. The answer is 'yes'. This time out, it works like this: all three song titles have a word in common. So if you can figure out, for example, that one of the songs is "Can't Keep My Eyes off of You", you might figure that one of the others is "Bette Davis Eyes". Or, alternately, "Keep On Movin'". Get it? Okay, here we go then:
#1 Oh, my friends are regular remove dirt and Liege, but my dad his "can not bother me to give them. World will not end. He for me a man who Talcs as foot foot, people like my son. Amount of care. Or hand of a man my son. ".
#2 And love is not easy, but you can load. And love is not easy. Download all you can do just can not leave. Darkness and give us and if you feel meonoy day Stopped heart and two other cups. Oh, Point peacock. It is in motion. Why not steal. No, they do not feel it. It Moving. Night guard.
#3 All the old graves of a file from the sand dance do not you? If they fast, they fell like dominoes for you. 'M Nile marketing and all those invested. Golden crocodiles C their simple mud. Variety of hookah pipe "that really inanikumbusha, Oh yeah. This, indeed, reminds us." Egypt, such as foot.
You know, I've heard that first one five million times but have never actually paid any attention to the lyrics. It's the third one, of course, that makes it easy. So once you've made your guesses, check out that charming whiteness below:

#1 "Walk Like a Man" by the Four Seasons.
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=1599245&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

Oh, how you tried to cut me down to size, telling dirty lies to my friends, but my own father said "Give her up, don't bother. The world isn't coming to an end". He told me, walk like a man, talk like a man, walk like a man my son. No woman's worth crawling on the earth, so walk like a man, my son."

#2 "Walk On" by U2.

http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=530496198&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

And love is not the easy thing, the only baggage you can bring. And love is not the easy thing. The only baggage you can bring is all that you can't leave behind. And if the darkness is to keep us apart, and if the daylight feels like it's a long way off, and if your glass heart should crack and for a second you turn back, oh no, be strong. Walk on, walk on. What you got, they can't steal it. No, they can't even feel it. Walk on, walk on. Stay safe tonight.

#3 "Walk Like an Egyptian" by the Bangles.
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=1599261&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

All the old paintings on the tombs, they do the sand dance, don't you know? If they move too quick, they're falling down like a domino. All the bazaar men by the Nile, they got the money on a bet. Gold crocodiles, they snap their teeth on your cigarette. Foreign types with the hookah pipes say, 'Ay oh whey oh, ay oh whey oh.' Walk like an Egyptian.

Flowers Suggest that Wind is Concerned

Okay, I'm kind of enjoying this thematic thing, so I'm carrying on. All three of these songs are the same genre (and the same era also, more or less). No more clues than that, but if you get one song, it'll tell you what musical style the other two are. And if you don't recognise any of them, well perhaps that genre is not your cup of tea.
#1 Cowboy is not easy to love is hiding nearby. They claim the gold and diamond. Lonestar belt Levis buttons and old black and every night and day. If you do not understand, he does not want to die young may lack only. More children are not allowed to cowboy. Alternative or not load the old car. Deunghapsida doctor and their lawyers. For your child at home to plant in March cowboy, they always love you just one of them. Him.
#2 If you still hear my joy, but I think you all are my conscience, I guess. If I'm Walking shoes and when my friends for your entertainment and Flowers suggest that wind is concerned, I feel I can not. What is a fright. I do not bother me at all. 51, captain of irregular solitaria Tobacco Research Community and play until dawn. Now, I can do nothing for you.
#3 Sometimes it is established all love a man with a good and sad and it is not difficult to know a good time to do, but if you love him and forgive him even harbor to understand. If you love it. Geugahaneun he was 12 years more recently proud. It is a cold lonely night to wait for a hot and is only two officers. Husband Tribune and the world would you know that you love it. You can all love. Arising from your man.
So there you go. What songs are these, machine-processed into salads? Well, the originals can be uncovered by highlighting the big mess of whiteness you see below:

#1 "Mamas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys" by Waylon Jennings.
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=952356&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

Cowboys aren't easy to love and they're harder to hold. They'd rather give you a song than diamonds or gold. Lonestar belt buckles and old faded Levis, and each night begins a new day. If you don't understand him, and he doesn't die young, he'll probably just ride away. Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys. Don't let them pick guitars or drive them old trucks. Let them be doctors and lawyers and such. Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys, because they'll never stay home and they're always alone, even with someone they love.

#2 "Flowers on the Wall" by the Statler Brothers.

http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=426550&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

I keep hearing you're concerned about my happiness, but all that thought you're giving me is conscience, I guess. If I were walking in your shoes, I wouldn't worry none while you and your friends are worrying about me, I'm having lots of fun counting flowers on the wall. That doesn't bother me at all. Playing solitare till dawn with a deck of fifty one, smoking cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo. Now don't tell me I've nothing to do.

#3 "Stand By Your Man" by Tammy Wynette.
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=1401033&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

Sometimes its hard to be a woman giving all your love to just one man: you'll have bad times, and he'll have good times doing things that you don't understand, but if you love him you'll forgive him, even though he's hard to understand. And if you love him, be proud of him, because after all he's just a man. Stand by your man, give him two arms to cling to and something warm to come to when nights are cold and lonely. Stand by your man and tell the world you love him. Keep giving all the love you can. Stand by your man.

Array Whisper in My Bag

So last week's thing was that the songs were all songs that hit #1 on Billboard in years that ended, as this one does, with the number 0. Here's three more of the same.
#1 This issue should wear their clothes? I can tell you that my tie is too big? Maybe I have a chain? Age nonsense welcome to buy. Only if you like the secret? You must use a lot of money, do not dress like a bad way. A new sound that everyone is talking about love, but I can still rock and roll.
#2 Array whisper in my bag. He left the winter Country'm. Silence in the bedroom and wake alone together? I still dream your eyes touch me. I like it, but now he has the worst. Be good, but I lost the whole way. I like it, but now he has the worst. From the present I think we can arrange a time.
#3 It might hurt your baby, it's a lie. They come to see him, oh. They do not cry, no one for me to do something, you remember. Maybe this: I will not lose you, little things like that are NOK, but I love them. When the boy finally see what someone else? First of all, I ..
They were more fun last week. Sorry about it. Plus, I'd rather be stuck on a desert island with last week's songs than this week's songs, especially #1, which gives me a migraine. You know where the answers are, right? Just in case you'd forgotten, they're right below here all dressed in white.

#1 "It's Still Rock 'n Roll to Me" by Billy Joel.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=390353036&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

What's the matter with the clothes I'm wearing? Can't you tell that your tie's too wide? Maybe I should buy some old tab collars? Welcome back to the age of jive. Where have you been hiding out lately, honey? You can't dress trashy till you spend a lot of money. Everybody's talking about the new sound, funny, but it's still rock and roll to me.

#2 "It Must Have Been Love" by Roxette.

http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=738097&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

Lay a whisper on my pillow. Leave the winter on the ground. I wake up lonely; is there a silence in the bedroom and all around? Touch me now; I close my eyes and dream away. It must have been love, but it's over now. It must have been good, but I lost it somehow. It must have been love, but it's over now. From the moment we touched till the time had run out.

#3 "It's Gonna be Me" by 'N Sync.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=390642876&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

You might have been hurt, babe; that is no lie. You've seen them all come and go, oh. I remember you told me that it made you believe in no man, no cry. Maybe that's why every little thing I do never seems enough for you: you don't want to lose it again, but I'm not like them. Baby, when you finally get to love somebody, guess what? It's going to be me.

My Father and Mother Did Not Sleep Around

Okay, back from a 'hiatus', as they say. This blog just stumbles on like a car with a flat tire, doesn't it? Anyway, it's 2010. So I'm celebrating by choosing six songs that were #1 hits on Billboard in years ending with zero. Which is easy enough to understand. Anyway, three of them this week and three next.
#1 Come on baby, let us together with screws. Come on baby, let us together with screws. I hope that hand Jomhasigi. Oh, swing, baby, baby, swing. Oh, so. Will continue to be volatile. My father and mother did not sleep around. Yes, my father and my mother not to sleep around. So, we have at home. Bolts forward. Oh yeah, baby, hurry up. Oh, so. Will continue to be volatile.
#2 The rain fell on my head, the man's feet are too big and his bed, apparently not pursued in this area. The rain was falling on my head. They fall. So, I have only two days, so I do not want to do, I'll tell you to sleep at work. The rain was falling on my head. They fall.
#3 The feeling is that Coombs morning. Grabbed my glasses, I my door, I walk to city statistics. Before I go, I was sick, Jack, when you go at night, I do not brush the teeth in the future. Our Spa fingers, toes, contact. All the clothes, clothes, and our efforts. Children, our phone, mobile phones in France. Impairment of goodwill, we are like a CD player, and the efforts of all parties, but also absorbed some views.
Awesomeness is to be found in how the first song suddenly gets to commenting on parents' faithfulness to one another, and also how the third song suddenly gets 'Coombs' through some pop-culture-savvy machine translation. Oh, the answers? In the whiteness below.

#1 "The Twist" by Chubby Checker.
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=1561070&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

Come on baby, let's do the twist. Come on baby, let's do the twist. Take me by my little hand and go like this. Oh, twist, baby baby, twist. Oh yes, just like this. Come on, little miss, and do the twist. My daddy is sleeping and mama isn't around. Yes, daddy is sleeping and mama isn't around. We're going to twisty twisty twisty till we turn the house down. Come on and twist. Yes, baby, twist. Oh yes, just like this. Come on, little miss, and do the twist.

#2 "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head" by B.J. Thomas.

http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=480087645&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

Raindrops keep falling on my head, and just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed, nothing seems to fit. Those raindrops are falling on my head. They keep falling. So I just did myself some talking to the sun, and I said I didn't like the way he got things done, sleeping on the job. Those raindrops are falling on my head. They keep falling.

#3 "Tik Tok" by Ke$ha.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=506366570&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

Wake up in the morning feeling like P Diddy. Grab my glasses, I'm out the door, I'm going to hit this city. Before I leave, brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack, because when I leave for the night, I am not coming back. I'm talking pedicure on our toes, toes. Trying on all our clothes, clothes. Boys blowing up our phones, phones. Drop topping, playing our favorite CDs, pulling up to the parties trying to get a little bit tipsy.

That Will be Sent Back for a Banquet

Three songs that wouldn't recognise each other if they bit each other on the... well, that's just a strange mental image, really. But three different eras, or decades at least.
#1 Only ships re-Memejamkan eyes train woven dream. Leave Ry, load depends for me today and tomorrow. Ah, dreams are trying to, I think maybe my bed. Ah, dreams are trying to, I think it is useful to obtain.

#2 I have to go back sexy. But I do not know whether children are working. It's a special back, so I think that will be sent back for a banquet. The Bridge. Dirty Child, is the team. Unfortunately, there was a slave. If you want me Cambuk damaged. But no I do not like.

#3 Result of an accident, is one of the lips. May, I still want to drop is acceptable. Rapid heartbeat, sports, not cutting, but OTAKKU loves. As we have done the night still young. Here is slow, and is easier to understand others. Holding hands on, mud, and music mengguncang settings: An evaluation of damage. Thus, the child's future to show some class? Why do you want to go so soon? We play, "Ah, did not dress. We can dance and party all night, drinking cherry, ah ah. We play, "Ah, can not take the suit. We can dance and party all night, drinking cherry, ah ah.

That first one is pretty much impossible, by the way. That big white space below is not some minimalist statement. It's the answers, cleverly hidden like Laura Secord writing enemy secrets on egg shells...

#1 "Dream Weaver" by Gary Wright.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=340158341&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

I've just closed my eyes again, climbed aboard the dream weaver train. Driver, take away my worries of today and leave tomorrow behind. Oh, dream weaver, I believe you can get me through the night. Oh, dream weaver, I believe we can reach the morning light.

#2 "Sexyback" by Justin Timberlake.

http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=493841831&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

I'm bringing sexy back. Those other boys don't know how to act. I think it's special what's behind your back, so turn around and I'll pick up the slack. Take them to the bridge. Dirty babe, you see these shackles. Baby, I'm your slave. I'll let you whip me if I misbehave. It's just that no one makes me feel this way.

#3 "We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off" by Jermaine Stewart.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=530308579&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

Not a word from your lips. You just took for granted that I want to skinny dip. A quick hit, that's your game, but I'm not a piece of meat, still you like my brain. Night is young, so are we. Let's get to know each other better, slow & easily. Take my hand, let's hit the floor, shake our bodies to the music: maybe then you'll score. So come on baby, won't you show some class? Why you want to move so fast? We don't have to take our clothes off to have a good time, oh no. We could dance and party all night and drink some cherry wine, uh huh. We don't have to take our clothes off to have a good time, oh no. We could dance and party all night and drink some cherry wine, uh huh.

Operators Who are All Entertaining

Big clue this week: all three of these songs are by the same artist. I won't say who that is, but if you can figure out one, you've got a huge head start on the other two.
#1 You can not do things I love you. I was arrested, and thus not allow my children do not. To start downloading the game when my heart Cintaku closed. If you want me, I know. Show Dad. Sorry, sport. As long as I understand it, because you're right, it's good.

#2 In fact, a children's playground. It was my childhood dream was. In the past, this is my place for a drive and when you need a friend. Why will end? Every time I do not think so because: "Look Back, keep his head straight? First, the old sensation and broke the heart, because a short life, you know, I did not. Past Musun. Craft, which many a .

#3 Every little thing, and he said off the phone call. We call for day and night baby, I, I was bored bored waiting for you happy. Those who are waiting to go slowly. No doubt time. Operators who are all entertaining. Ben, I do not know how to repeat.

Highlighting the big white area below these here words won't tell you what 'kuharap' means, but it'll tell you just what these three songs used to be in a past life.

#1 "Borderline" by Madonna.
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=139707&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

Something in the way you love me won't let me be. I don't want to be your prisoner, so baby won't you set me free. Stop playing with my heart; finish what you start when you make my love come down. If you want me, let me know. Baby, let it show. Honey, don't you fool around. Just try to understand, I've given all I can, because you got the best of me.

#2 "This Used to be My Playground" by Madonna.

http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=500467114&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

This used to be my playground. This used to be my childhood dream. This used to be the place I ran to whenever I was in need of a friend. Why did it have to end? And why do they always say, "don't look back, keep your head held high"? Don't ask them why because life is short, and before you know, you're feeling old and your heart is breaking. Don't hold on to the past. Well, that's too much to ask.

#3 "Hung Up" by Madonna.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=381298891&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

Every little thing that you say or do, I'm hung up, I'm hung up on you. Waiting for your call, baby, night and day, I'm fed up, I'm tired of waiting on you. Time goes by so slowly for those who wait. No time to hesitate. Those who run seem to have all the fun. I'm caught up, I don't know what to do.

I Want to Encourage a Child

Three more this week. One is so simple that I really shouldn't have included it... All of them are a few generations old. Feeling nostalgic this week, I guess...
#1 I have skin. In my heart I really part of it is that I. I have skin. I not only try, said: "It will not work." But I want to encourage a child, I know, I was under the skin.

#2 Why do gay and lovers song birds is waiting for the rest of the day? Why love? More rain and why? Why fool in love? Why love? Love is not a game, love can be a problem. I, stupid guys, you see, I do not remember. Tell me why. Tell me why.

#3 Like a bird on a wire like a drunken midnight choir, I think that my way is free. However, an old book, like a worm in one night to add all your links. If I do, it's was not very good, I hope you go. If I, if you really know it was not kuharap do not need.

Highlighting the big white area below these here words won't tell you what 'kuharap' means, but it'll tell you just what these three songs used to be in a past life.

#1 "I've Got You Under my Skin" written by Cole Porter.
http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=390167836&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

I´ve got you under my skin. I´ve got you deep in the heart of me, so deep in my heart that you´re really a part of me. I´ve got you under my skin. I tried so not to give in. I said to myself, "This affair never will go so well." But why should I try to resist when, baby, I know so well, I´ve got you under my skin.

#2 "Why Do Fools Fall in Love?" by Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers.

http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=530083839&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

Why do birds sing so gay and lovers await the break of day? Why do they fall in love? Why does the rain fall from up above? Why do fools fall in love? Why do they fall in love? Love is a losing game and love can be a shame. I know of a fool, you see, for that fool is me. Tell me why. Tell me why.

#3 "Bird on a Wire" by Leonard Cohen
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=117696&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

Like a bird on the wire, like a drunk in a midnight choir, I have tried in my way to be free. Like a worm on a hook, like a knight from some old fashioned book, I have saved all my ribbons for thee. If I, if I have been unkind, I hope that you can just let it go by. If I, if I have been untrue, I hope you know it was never to you.

The Head of Knowledge Itself

I might as well give you a clue. This week, I thought I'd celebrate the year 2010 by including three songs from the past decade. But then I forgot what I was doing... so, two of these songs are from the past ten years, and the third one is older than the hills... well, older than some hills that have been artificially constructed in the past thirty-five years or so.
#1 I will restore, no, no, I try to do No words. Yes, I was, please know that you can see back to black. I believe I am good at my father if I do not have time, I will restore it, you are trying to avoid going out. Like at home with Ray. This is not anything I can learn from Mr. Hathaway You can not teach, we do nothing, which is 70 days. Many of my classes, but I know it comes to glass.

#2 I know him tell him to apologize. Not know how beautiful you. I must find you, and I need, say it. Oh, please let us know your question to me secretly and nurse you, let us return to the top. Spin - spin tail is coming, the head of knowledge itself.

#3 What you need to be closed. Scroll wheel each year. Talk about your problem, it is keheningan crime. To perform a wipe the wheels go out of horses. You do not have money, you do not have a house. The back wheel. Discuss and learn about their problems. Poni us to paint the horses can move and rotate the wheel.

There you go. Can't figure them out? A good ctrl-a might help. Otherwise, just highlight the whiteness you see below.

#1 "Rehab" by Amy Winehouse
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=8423746&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

They tried to make me go to rehab, but I said 'no, no, no'. Yes, I've been black but when I come back you'll know know know. I haven't got the time, and if my daddy thinks I'm fine, he's tried to make me go to rehab but I won't go go go. I'd rather be at home with Ray. I haven't got seventy days, because there's nothing, there's nothing you can teach me that I can't learn from Mr Hathaway. I didn't get a lot in class, but I know it don't come in a shot glass.

#2 "The Scientist" by Coldplay

http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=491475811&search_in=i&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1

Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry. You don't know how lovely you are. I had to find you, tell you I need you, and tell you I set you apart. Tell me your secrets, and nurse me your questions, oh let's go back to the start. Running in circles, coming in tails, heads on a science apart.

#3 "Spinning Wheel" by Blood, Sweat and Tears
http://repertoire.bmi.com/title.asp?blnWriter=True&blnPublisher=True&blnArtist=True&keyid=1396227&ShowNbr=0&ShowSeqNbr=0&querytype=WorkID

What goes up must come down. spinning wheel has got to go round. Talking about your troubles, it's a crying sin. Ride a painted pony, let the spinning wheel spin. You've got no money, and you've got no home. Spinning wheel all alone. Talking about your troubles and you never learn. Ride a painted pony, let the spinning wheel turn.
